In the Winter, there is one date on everyone's calendar:

Thanksgiving Day, the day the ski area opens to the public.

During the Summer, Telluride becomes a festival mecca, including:

Mountain Film Festival in May,

Telluride Bluegrass Festival and Telluride Wine Festival in June,

Telluride Jazz Celebration, Telluride Chamber Music Festival, Telluride Tech Fest, and Telluride Mushroom Festival in August, and

Telluride Film Festival and Telluride Blues and Brews, both in September.
