Golf in Telluride

The 1st and 18th holes of the Telluride Golf Course are located right outside The Peaks Resort & Gaolden Door Spa. The spectacular course winds around the mountain, over summer-green ski runs and alongside multi-million dollar vacation homes. The par 71 course is relatively short, because of the altitude—9,400 feet above sea level—and is a special test of your golf skills.

Set high atop Loghill Mesa and surrounded on all sides by towering peaks, Divide Ranch & Golf Club is a 4-star Golf Digest's "Places to Play" location. The rumors are true: the ball does fly farther at 8,000 feet above sea level. This par-72 course is a challenge for players at all levels, and if you're fortunate enough to spot the wild elk herd that frequents the rough, you deserve to take a break and enjoy The Loghill Grill, their excellent bistro.
